Dr. Daniel Nehring

Senior Lecturer in Sociology
Department of Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy
Swansea University
Swansea
United Kingdom

About me

I am a sociologist with a particular interest in the personal consequences of globalisation and the ever more rapid and unpredictable changes that are remaking the social world. This interest has led me to a widely international and, I think, somewhat unusual academic career, and I have held academic appointments in Europe, the Americas, as well as East Asia. Currently, I am a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Swansea University in the UK. On this website, I introduce my research, my publications, my teaching, and other, personal interests. To get in touch, please see the contact page in the link bar above.
